Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe | Houston

"As a long time Montgomery County native, I happened to be driving down HWY 105 on a Monday (Come Monday it’ll be alright) and realized that I had never stayed at Margaritaville! My prom was at the resort’s predecessor, Del Lago, and I thought to myself, (what would Jimmy Buffett do?) I immediately took a left and made my way to paradise... This adventure was on a whim so I had no reservation. In my heart I knew there would be a room, so I ventured forward. I made my way to the front desk and was graciously greeted and welcomed by Corey, whose delightful energy was a sign that life was unfolding towards an amazing stay at the ‘Ville. With a smile, Corey said you’ll be our guest in Room #1009. 1+9=10, which is what I would rate the room. Perfect temperature, Perfect View, Perfect Tunes playing when I entered the room. The vibe was mine in a nutshell. I checked in late, after 5 (o’clock somewhere) but was pleasantly surprised when I was told the pool would be open until 10. That gave me a couple of hours before dinner to “Relax” just like the turquoise pillow in my room said to. I enjoyed a couple of frozen concoctions and I hung on. Met some great characters along the way too. What a great stay! Even the checkout was amazing. Kara at the front desk and I chatted like old friends. I enjoyed the convo and my stay so much that I left the resort with no worries and a full tank of love and gratitude, and left with a (change in latitude and a change in attitude)… Take me away to Margaritaville anytime!"
